Once a thriving cigar mecca, Florida’s tobacco-growing industry nearly faded away by 1977. However, the Drew Estate team and Florida cigar retailing legend Jeff Borysiewicz kick off a new era with a sumptuous cigar smoking experience infused with a touch of the Sunshine State’s tobacco-growing flair. Smooth yet rich, the Drew Estate 20 Acre Farm Robusto is a crowd-pleaser that marks the next step in the evolution of Florida tobacco.
Named for the 20-acre tobacco farm in Clermont, Florida that Borysiewicz has cultivated since 2013, the 20 Acre Farm Robusto features Nicaraguan Esteli, and Jalapa filler leaves mixed with Sun Grown tobacco from the now famous Central Florida farm. A Honduran Sun Grown Habano binder and elegant Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf complete the 5 ½” x 54 smoke.
The 20 Acre Farm Robusto offers a richly textured, medium-bodied smoke loaded with cedar and spice flavors. Hints of pepper, oak, mixed nut, earth, and cream populate the complex experience as splashes of citrus tease along the way. The finish is smooth and tasty, with a slight uptick in body and strength.
Handcrafted at Drew Estate’s La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate factory in Nicaragua, the cedar-wrapped 20 Acre Farm Robusto is a superior “anytime, anywhere” smoke that showcases the ongoing effort to transform Florida’s tobacco growing capabilities.
