Shipping and Returns

Shipping shouldn't cause headaches! After all, you're not cigar shopping because you want another errand or chore, right? We do everything we can to make your cigar delivery as easy as possible.  Cigars ship in sealed containers from the manufacturer - unless you are ordering single cigars. Lighters / torches ship without butane or any other flammable fuel to meet the shipping requirements of USPS and UPS.

Currently, we trust USPS Priority Mail to ship all cigars, humidors and accessories. Most orders ship from our Connecticut warehouse. We offer a flat-rate of $7.95 for all orders within the continental United States. Everything more than $99 ships for free!

We're happy to ship cigars just about anywhere except where prohibited by law. Currently, we have easy solutions for Americans living in most states as well as international customers.

That depends on your location in the U.S. Most of the Eastern Seaboard can expect their orders within three days of the order leaving the warehouse. Generally speaking, if you live in a metropolitan area, you'll receive your cigars two to three days after ordering. If you live in a rural area, it'll be three to four days from the day you order. Check out the Transit Map below for a fairly accurate estimate of when you should get your order. While the United States Postal Service doesn't guarantee delivery times with Priority Mail service, we've found 3-4 days to be a safe bet for delivery.

Of course, we're out to make your cigar shopping and cigar smoking experience as enjoyable as possible. We accept returns for all unopened cigars so long as they are returned within two weeks of the purchase date. If, on the rare occasion you receive cigars that are not what you ordered as described on this site, we'll pay the cost to get them back. If you order the wrong product and it is properly described on the Cigars City website, we do ask that you pay the return shipping and we will refund your purchase price (we don't refund the original shipping charge of $7.95 since we're unable to recoup that expense once we send your order out). Seems fair, right?
