When Mike Conder and Jon Huber left CAO to form
Crowned Heads, they knew all too well their first cigar had to be a stunner.
Inspired by a song by Kings of Leon, the team set out to create a cigar that captured
a deeply rooted sense of family along with the free spirit of their hometown of
Nashville. After garnering the services of legendary cigar man Ernesto
Perez-Carrillo, the Four Kicks cigar was born!
The Four Kicks Piramide is a gorgeous 6 1/8” x 52
Torpedo loaded with velvety Nicaraguan filler tobaccos tucked into a Nicaraguan
binder leaf and encased in a beautifully textured Ecuadorian Habano wrapper
leaf. The 90-rated cigar that emerges delivers a glorious hour or longer
excursion.
The Four Kicks Piramide eases into action with
notes of wood and leather that are cloaked with a deliciously sweet nuance.
Each puff through the exquisite draw brings more notes of coffee, pepper and
nuts which swirl into a delightfully complex medium-bodied smoke that is supple
and smooth to the last.
The Four Kicks Piramide is a truly remarkable
debut cigar from Crowned Heads which set a precedent of quality, consistency
and pleasure-inducing flavor for all cigars that follow. With the Four Kicks
Piramide, Crowned Heads set out to match and exceed THE Cuban cigar of all
Cuban cigars, the Montecristo No. 2. Quite a lofty claim and boy, did Crown
Heads deliver!
